I'd have to say my time spent achieving in Ulduar has been the most rewarding and interesting out of all 1058 achievements so far. When I saw the massive amount of achievements added to the game in Patch 3.1, I thought to myself "this is going to take forever." I was right, filling up the entire Secrets of Ulduar 25-Player Raid section of my tab took 8 months. The week Ulduar was released, I had made it my personal mission to do as many achievements as I could on my own. Quickly I realized that completing everything was going to take a massive amount of effort from the guild. Most of my time in Ulduar was spent convincing people that we should do a certain achievement. "Guys, let's get Nine Lives out of the way." That particular achievement people now despise, as our first crack at it we hit Auriaya's enrage timer with 1 cat left to kill.
Most of the other random achievements fell into place easily, not inconveniencing the raid to an unbearable degree. Some others were just natural, do the fight well, and be rewarded; Shadowdodger comes to mind. Certain achievements came easier than others, as some may remember the week that XT-002 Deconstructor was generating a lot of adds, which made getting Nerf Scrapbots less of a nightmare. At this point, we were 4 months into the instance, and just perfecting our Algalon and Yogg-Saron 0 Watcher tactics. Our first Algalon kill was a heartbreaker, one person died on our first attempt of the night, which would have given us a world 3rd immortal Algalon kill.
We had been doing well though, finishing up most of the achievements albeit reluctantly. I knew only a few of the achievements we had left would haunt me. For weeks now, we had been trying to do If Looks Could Kill with my insistence to no success. Our guild motto had more or less become "We'll get it next week," but next always became the week after, next week begot next week, and so on. Even that though would get done eventually, in a rare occasion where everything went right.
That motto carried over to this next achievement as well, "He Feeds On Your Tears." The final obstacle; the one achievement that couldn't be done before 2 other Major Patches were released. For weeks we had been clearing only up to him, and I was the person pushing for it. Algalon and I turned into the accursed ones keeping us bound to the instance we had all grown sick of. We had failed this achievement in every way possible really, tanks and shadow priests missing a cooldown for his Ascend to the Heavens ability, one of our “legendary” Val'anyr wielding healers standing in a Cosmic Smash 4 weeks in a row, even new recruits joining our guild only to die on Algalon and be guild removed in a matter of days. Our best failure though was definitely a 3-4% death, where Algalon began to cast a Big Bang right before he normally concedes and rewards us for his defeat. There stood one enhancement shaman, shattering out hopes of finally doing this achievement, standing and DPSing the boss through a big bang. I was the person assigned to soak that Big Bang, and I could see it like a train wreck about to happen, but no words could prevent it, as he faceplanted on the transparent ground while the entire raid became furious.
A few weeks later, a total of 8 months after the instance first came out, we finally completed Ulduar, finishing off Algalon without a death. Was a great relief, to everybody in Tasty Beverage, and especially to me, one step closer to having "completed" the game.

I feel the pain you felt Iapeto, every day. Maybe even more as i am not in such a good guild as yours, well just joined a nice guild, but doubt many will be up for ulduar 25 achievements.
I am always trying to convince people aswell in doing achievements mostly without success and sometimes a guild kick as a result.
But gratz dude on having every possible achievemeny right now, you deserve it with the effort you've put into ACHIEVING this. =)
