I included a lot of hotfixes that while didn't directly change an achievement, did affect the difficulty of related achievements. (mostly in dungeons and professions).

Here you will find a list of hotfixes that address various issues related to the release of patch 4.0.3a and World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. While many have already been deployed on all realms, some may not be implemented until the next time your realm is restarted. January 6

• Professions
  • Jewelcrafting
    • Shaman were unable to obtain Design: Figurine - Demon Panther from Neferset Looters. This has been corrected.
• PvP
  • Strand of the Ancients
    • Demolishers now spawn at about the same moment that the boats reach the docks in the second round.
  • Tol Barad
    • If a player is already in Tol Barad and does not join the battle, the player will be ported back to the camp.
    • Using /afk ejects players out of the raid and back to the camp.
    • Entering Tol Barad via the bridge during an active battle by joining the queue will port the player to the correct starting place of the battle, but players who do not join the queue will be ported back to the camp.
• Quests & Creatures
  • Tol Barad
    • The spawn rates of all three Tol Barad quest micro dungeons have been adjusted to a more reasonable level. This should alleviate the issues players were having with creatures respawning too quickly.
    • The escorted Farson Keep Prisoner for the quest "Walk A Mile In Their Shoes" no longer engages in combat with opposing faction players.
  • Twilight Highlands
    • If reinforcements are not called after 60 seconds, Skullcrusher the Mountain will now despawn. When reinforcements are called, Skullcrusher no longer improperly despawns.

January 4-5

• General
  • Mix Master (guild achievement) is now awarded at 1,000 flasks, down from 10,000, and Better Leveling Through Chemistry (guild achievement) is awarded at 3,000 flasks, down from 25,000. It turns out we overestimated these numbers just a smidgen. More information can be found here.
  • The 7th and 8th guild bank tabs will now let players withdraw and deposit items after the guild master is changed.
  • All six of the guild battle standards have had their experience and honor gain buffs increased to 5/10/15%, up from 2/4/6%, and they last for a duration of 10 minutes.
• Professions
  • Alchemy
    • Crafting the four Northrend flasks (Endless Rage, Pure Mojo, Frost Wyrm and Stoneblood) no longer counts toward the guild achievements Mix Master or Better Leveling Through Chemistry.
    • Flasks made by the Cauldron of Battle and the Big Cauldron of Battle are no longer soulbound.
    • Both cauldrons now last 10 minutes. Please note the tooltips will not be updated until a client-side patch is applied.
    • The Big Cauldron of Battle now has 20/30 charges instead of 17/25. Please note the tooltip will not be updated until a client-side patch is applied.
  • Engineering
    • All eight of the Engineering discoveries are now able to be learned through crafting the Overpowered Chicken Splitter at max-level Engineering.
    • The Invisibility Field no longer causes the Dazzler backfire effect. Additionally, the Invisibility Field effect does not carry over into Arenas and cannot be used in Arenas.
  • Fishing
    • Giant Catfish now drop more frequently and Hardened Walleye now drop a little less frequently while on the appropriate daily quests.
  • PvP
    • Battlegrounds
      • Cooldowns should now properly reset upon entering a rated Battleground.
      • Players should no longer lose their Horde/Alliance buffs if caught by a druid's Cyclone while participating in War Games.
    • Tol Barad
      • The number of guard spawns has been increased for both Horde and Alliance base camps, with guards now surrounding the edges of each camp. Both Alliance and Horde guards use all abilities that the Furious Hyjal Warden uses and will attack with ranged abilities when unable to find a path, or at a distance. Guards are also immune to taunt effects. In addition, Hellscream and Baradin Guards now respawn more quickly.
      • The northern graveyards on Tol Barad Peninsula for each faction have been moved further apart from one another to lessen the fantastic camping.
  • Quests, Creatures & Zones
    • Dalaran
      • Red Rider Air Rifle and Red Rider Air Rifle Ammo are now part of Jepetto Joybuzz's vendor list and can be purchased for their displayed prices.
    • Tol Barad
      • Imprisoned Workers now have a smaller aggro radius. They also drop Cellblock Rations for players that are on the quest "Food From Below".
      • The Baradin Crocolisk can be skinned without issue and the Crocolisk Hide, used in the quest "Swamp Bait", is no longer multi-drop.
      • "The Leftovers", "Swamp Bait", and "A Huge Problem" quests are now sharable on the Alliance, and both the Alliance and Horde versions give high reputation and gold.
      • Tank and Problim now have full immunities to all crowd control effects.

January 3

• Dungeons & Raids
  • Throne of the Four Winds
    • Players now receive credit for the achievements Heroic: Conclave of Wind or Throne of the Four Winds if they are dead when the encounter is defeated.
• Professions
  • Archaeology
    • Select Archaeology nodes and dig sites have been updated to ensure the Map listings are correct and the nodes properly spawn within the dig sites.
  • Cooking
    • The cooking daily quest Chef's Awards no longer have a limit to how many players can hold at one time. Please note that the user interface will still say a maximum of 10 Chef's Award currency can be possessed until a client-side patch can be applied, but players can accrue more than 10.
  • Tailoring
    • Tailors with 400 skill or higher should now receive additional cloth drops 50% of the time from anything that drops cloth, up from 25%.
• PvP
  • Tol Barad now awards 360 Honor Points for winning as the attacking faction, down from 1800. Further details can be found on our forums.

December 22 - 27

• General
  • Graveyard Rats are no longer considered critters and do not give credit toward the Critter Kill Squad guild achievement.
  • Weekly guild reputation caps should now properly reset at the scheduled time. An error which prevented this reset from taking place if guild experience was earned at exactly 3:00 AM server time immediately prior to weekly maintenance has been corrected.
  • The achievement Saving for a Rainy Day has the same requirements as its predecessor Time to Open a Savings Account. For this reason Saving for a Rainy Day has been temporarily disabled (it will still show in the user interface), as it requires a fix via a client-side patch.
• Dungeons & Raids
  • Gnomeregan
    • Mekgineer Thermaplugg no longer sometimes awards dungeon completion prematurely.

December 21

• General
  • Weekly resets and calculations which occur during regular maintenance should no longer be applied one hour early, which should prevent them from being run twice.
  • The sell prices for the 7th and 8th bank tabs purchased with guild level 5 are now 0.
• Professions
  • Chaos Orbs can now only been seen and rolled on by characters with a minimum skill level of 425 in Tailoring, Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, or Engineering.
  • Elemental Goos now drop 100% of the time off of Cataclysm elementals for the Jewelcrafting daily quest.
  • Engineers are no longer able to use the Spinal Healing Injector or Z50 Mana Gulper tinkers in Arenas.
  • Rare Archaeology finds should now grant triple skill gains.
  • The progress on the guild achievement That's a Lot of Travel Time no longer goes up each time players complete the repeatable quest "Could I get a Fishing Flier?"
• PvP
  • Arenas
    • All 28 of the Vicious Gladiator 2200 rating weapons now require level 86 to equip. This is a temporary fix to prevent items which were obtained prematurely due to a bug causing Arena rating inflation from being used.
    • All weapon, ranged, and off-hand items which require a 2200 rating have been temporarily removed from their respective vendors. This is a temporary fix to prevent items from being obtained prematurely due to a bug causing Arena rating inflation.
    • Rogues lose any stored combo points upon entering an Arena, preventing the use of abilities such as Slice n' Dice.
  • Demolishers are properly spawning in at the beginning of Round 2 in Strand of the Ancients as Preparation fades.
• Quests & Creatures
  • Deepholm
    • Quest credit for killing Fungalmancer Glop should now be awarded to all players on his threat list.
  • Durotar
    • Attempting to use the Drowned Thunder Lizard Tail outside of Durotar now returns the error "You need to be in Durotar".
  • Twilight Highlands
    • Cadaver Collage's hit points in Crucible of Carnage have been increased. The poison clouds that are left on the ground now despawn when Cadaver Collage begins casting Inhale. When Cadaver Collage begins to float away, it now displays an explosion animation after a few seconds and the player is removed from combat. This occurs within a few seconds, much faster than it previously took to leave combat.

December 20

• General
• Dungeons & Raids
  • Blackrock Caverns
    • Bellows Slaves no longer grant reputation.
  • Grim Batol
    • Quests for Grim Batol are now appropriately flagged as dungeon quests.
  • Halls of Origination
    • Players are now able to zone into the dungeon if Anraphet is in combat.
  • Lost City of the Tol'vir
    • Players are now able to zone into the dungeon if General Hussam is in combat.
• Items
  • Winged Steed of the Ebon Blade is no longer showing as available for purchase by any class but death knights.
  • Several shirts have been corrected so they no longer cause a player's item level to increase. They are item level 1.
• Professions
  • The search radius to find an Archaeology node from the Archaeology ability Survey has been increased. This will result in fewer searches needed while in the "green" range of surveying.
  • The Alchemy specialization Elixir Master was granting extra potion procs instead of Potion Master when used on Cataclysm level recipes. The potions found to be causing this have been fixed.
  • Both Willful Ember Topaz and Lucent Ember Topaz no longer award skill past 515 Jewelcrafting skill. The designs still show as grey in the Profession window, but no longer award skill up to 525.
  • Several cooking recipes were not counting toward the achievement Set the Oven to "Cataclysmic" and have been updated. Note that Darkbrew Lager, Highland Spirits, and Chocolate Cookie are not intended to count for this achievement.
• PvP
  • Killing a level 85 dwarf mage now properly updates the achievement criteria for Dwarf Slayer.
• Quests & Creatures
  • Shy Highlands Turkeys in Twilight Highlands are now coming out to play for achievements.

December 16

• General
  • Completing Archaeology projects will once again contribute to the guild achievement Making History once the player relogs.
  • The Orgrimmar portal to Mount Hyjal should now appear for players who flew directly into Hyjal to start questing, rather than take the Moonglade portal.
• Professions
  • Pyrite Ore is prospectable at 500 Jewelcrafting skill, down from 525.
  • Darkbrew Lager can be learned at 415 Cooking skill, down from 425.
  • The Engineering item High-Powered Bolt Gun can no longer be used in Arena and Rated Battleground matches.
  • Engineers can now purchase Smooth Cogwheels from Frank Natale using 4x Handful of Obsidium Bolts.

December 15

• General
  • Players are no longer able to go At War with the Dragonmaw faction.
• Dungeons & Raids
  • Both the 5- and 20-quest versions of the Dungeon Quests Completed achievements trigger correctly on dungeon quests done.
  • Baradin Hold
    • Argaloth now respects the faction that kills him and does not drop trinkets for the opposing faction.
  • The Vortex Pinnacle
    • The "corpse-catching" mechanic now properly teleports players to the entrance platform of the dungeon.
• Items
  • Players can no longer buy the opposing faction's mounts in Alterac Valley.
  • Reputation is no longer being granted while wearing the Tabard of the Guardians of Hyjal in normal mode Blackrock Caverns.
• Professions
  • Canopic Jars are no longer poor quality and now show as white (standard) items.
  • Obisidum Ore now spawns slightly less frequently in Mount Hyjal.
• PvP
  • Progress is now properly tracked for the achievement Tol Barad Saboteur.
• Quests & Creatures
  • Feast of Winter Veil: there is now a quest blob surrounding the area of Growless Cave for the quest "You're a Mean One..."
  • Cataclysm Zones
    • Deepholm
      • Pebble is correctly able to be picked back up if he despawns while being escorted from the crumbling depths for the quest "Lost in the Deeps".
    • Mount Hyjal
      • Players are now able to enter the portal to the Firelands Hatchery as ghosts after the Aviana Regrowth event has occurred.
    • Twilight Highlands
      • Grot Deathblow (Dragonmaw Quartermaster) and Craw MacGraw (Wildhammer Quartermaster) can no longer be killed by members of the opposing faction.
      • "Bring Down the High Shaman" and "Warlord Halthar is Back" are now group quests.
      • The amount of Wildhammer Food Stores required to complete the associated quests has been reduced to 10, down from 15. Please note the quest text will still state that 15 are needed until a client-side patch can be implemented to correct this.
    • Uldum
      • Players are no longer able to receive Efficient Excavations before completing the quest "Do the Honors".
    • Vashj'ir
      • Players can now ride the Seahorse in Darkbreak and Tenebrous Cavern.
      • The questgiver Fiasco Sizzlegrin is now visible and giving the quest "Crafty Crabs" upon completion of "Waking the Beast". "Crafty Crabs" remain acceptable while players work on the other quests in the associated cave.
  • Eastern Kingdoms
    • Stormwind
      • Earthworm Mounds for the quest "Diggin' For Worms" should now respawn more quickly.
  • Outland
    • Hellfire Peninsula
      • The quest requirements for the achievement To Hellfire and Back have been lowered for both Horde and Alliance characters. Horde characters need to complete 86 quests and Alliance characters need to complete 76.

December 14

• General
  • Master Riding now properly grant players 310% flight speed in Eastern Kingdoms with X-53 Touring Rocket, Celestial Steed, Headless Horseman's Mount, X-51 Nether-Rocket, X-51 Nether-Rocket X-TREME, and Invincible.
• Battlegrounds
  • Battleground Demolishers in Strand of the Ancients have had their health lowered in all Battleground brackets except for the level 80-84 range, where their health has been increased.
  • Lifegiving Seeds can no longer be used in Battlegrounds.
• Dungeons & Raids
  • The Looking For Dungeon random bracket for Throne of the Tides and Blackrock Caverns has been changed from level 80-81 to 80-82, and the specific bracket has been changed from level 80-83 to 80-85.
  • Grim Batol
    • Players can now zone into the dungeon while another player is in combat with a boss.
  • Halls of Origination
    • Brann now correctly begins his event for "Heart of the Matter" if the player is mounted when the quest is accepted.
    • There is now a teleportation device present at the front of the dungeon once Temple Guardian Anhuur has been defeated.
  • Throne of the Four Winds
    • You are now able to drink and eat after the party wipes. It's a sad day, after all, when the dead can't even enjoy delicious food and drink.
• Professions
  • The respawn rates for all Horde and Alliance Cooking daily quest objectives in Orgrimmar and Stormwind have been increased.
  • The Alchemy mount Vial of the Sands is no longer Bind-on-Pickup.
  • Corpses which have already been skinned should no longer sometimes remain, making players think they can still be skinned -- players who are then left saddened by false hopes.
  • Players are no longer able to apply the Eternal Belt Buckle on belts higher than item level 300.
  • The droprate on the Precious Locket from Royal Monkfish in Stormwind waters for the Fishing daily quest "Big Gulp" has been increased.
  • Ethereal Ink sold by vendors was too expensive and now trades at a 1:1 ratio with Blackfallow Ink.
  • Obsidium Ore nodes now spawn more frequently in Deepholm.
  • Pristine Hides were too common and now have less of a chance to drop.
  • The gem cuts Timeless Nightstone, Jagged Jasper, and Solid Zephyrite can no longer create perfect versions of the cut.
• Quests & Creatures
  • Cataclysm Zones
    • Deepholm
      • Players that are not on the quest "Wrath of the Fungalmancer", and are out of combat at the same time another player begins the Fungalmancer event, will not be placed into combat with Fungal Horrors that spawn during the encounter. All Fungal Horrors despawn as soon as Fungalmancer Glop is defeated. In addition, at no time should Fungalmancer Glop path through walls or terrain. Norsala respawns moments after a player completes the encounter.
      • The quest "Wayward Child" can now be completed with Therazane regardless of the phase the player is in.
    • Mount Hyjal
      • All players who receive the raid victory message while on the quest "Prepping the Soil" will also receive quest objective completion.
    • Tol Barad Peninsula
      • Wandering Souls will now always drop a Cursed Femur for the quest "Salvaging the Remains".
      • Darkwood Broodmothers and Darkwood Hatchlings were sharing spawn locations, sometimes preventing one of the creature types from spawning. This has been corrected.
      • The Magnatized Scrap Collector cannot be used outside the designated quest area.
    • Twilight Highlands
      • The cutscene for the quest "Enter the Dragon Queen" no longer breaks if someone skips the cutscene and more than one person is watching it.
      • The ever-sneaky Cayden Dunwald should now always get attacked during the escort quest "Once More Into The Fire".
      • To address a phasing conflict, players cannot accept "Somethin' For The Boys" until they've completed all three of the preceding quests, including "They Took Me Pants!"
      • Axebite Grunts now despawn whenever the siege tanks get healed and leave, or if they get destroyed. The Siege Tank Commanders are now flagged as immune creatures and no longer get stuck in combat, which prevented players from interacting with them for the quest "Siege Tank Rescue". In addition, players can no longer attack Siege Tank Commanders.
      • Darunga's respawn time for the quest "Doing It Like a Dunwald" has been reduced. In addition, the corpses of Darunga and Jaspertip Crystal-Gorgers should no longer linger around for an inordinate amount of time.
      • The ogres in Glopgut's Hollow now respawn at a higher rate than before.
    • Uldum
      • Harrison Jones will now spawn at the exact same time as the Obsidian Colossus for the quest "Fortune and Glory".
      • Engaging in PvP combat in Ramkahen now properly spawns guards.
      • Wearing associated costumes for the quest "Firing Squad" when the cutscene plays should no longer result in event issues.
      • Kill credit is now awarded to all party members for both the regular and daily versions of the quest "Fire from the Sky". Missiles from other players are also visible to everyone now.
      • Elite Troopers were way too elite and had triple the armor they're supposed to have. We've stripped them of some of their precious protection.
      • All party members are now receiving credit for motivating a Slacking Laborer for the quest "Make Yourself Useful". This is 100% more useful.
    • Vashj'ir
      • The quest "Wake of Destruction" now only requires players to devour 10 naga.
      • Hallazeal the Ascended now despawns when a player leaves combat or logs out while being engaged with him.
      • At the conclusion of the final cutscene for "Defending the Rift", the quest completion NPC is visible for both factions.
      • The Nespirah Fluid buff is now removed when players enter a dungeon, raid, or Battleground.
      • Quest credit is now shared between party members when killing quest creatures for "Wake of Destruction".
  • Eastern Kingdoms
    • Eastern Plaguelands
      • Players should no longer have issues using Rayne's Seed in all three ziggurats for the quest "Amidst Death, Life".
    • The Cape of Stranglethorn
      • The Ironjaw Humour that drops off Ironjaw Behemoth for the quest "Too Big for His Britches" can now be looted by multiple members of a party.
    • Ghostlands
      • Goblin characters are now able to accept the quests “The Forsaken" and "Journey to Undercity".
    • Northern Stranglethorn
      • When reputation with the Bloodsail Buccaneers is friendly, players can now accept the quest "Avast Ye, Admiral!" from Fleet Master Firallon.
    • Swamp of Sorrows
      • The objects Thousand-Thread-Count Fuse, Extra-Pure Blasting Powder, and Stack of Questionable Publications for the quest "In with a Bang" now respawn more quickly.
  • Kalimdor
    • Southern Barrens
      • Silithid Swarmers no longer grant any experience or loot, and cannot be skinned when killed.
    • Stonetalon Mountains
      • The Stonetalon Mountains Quests achievement is now properly triggered after the 55th quest is completed.

December 13

• General
  • Guild experience caps were being hit faster than expected. As a result, guild experience gained through questing has been reduced.
  • After hitting the weekly guild reputation cap, players will no longer receive the message that they're at the cap every time a quest is turned in.
  • It is no longer possible to activate Running Wild from a transform or shapeshift form (including Metamorphosis). When leaving a shapeshift form, worgen players will always be in worgen form and cannot toggle Two Forms while shapeshifted.
• Dungeons & Raids
  • Chaos Orbs now drop properly from Vanessa VanCleef in Heroic: Deadmines.
  • It should no longer be possible for Vanessa VanCleef's note to spawn in Deadmines instances where groups have not killed Ripsnarl and Cookie.
  • Admiral Ripsnarl's vapors no longer award reputation in Heroic: Deadmines.
  • Summoned non-elite Twisted Visages no longer provide reputation in Grim Batol.
  • Siamat in Lost City of the Tol'vir could sometimes fail to cast Deflecting Winds on time, rendering him unkillable. This has been corrected.
  • NPCs which spawn during the Baron Silverlaine encounter in Shadowfang Keep no longer reward reputation when killed.
  • All players should now correctly be rewarded with the Straw that Broke the Camel's Back achievement in Halls of Origination.
• Items
  • Some Cataclysm world rare drops improperly had faction requirements which have been removed.
• Quests & Creatures
  • Cataclysm Zones
    • Deepholm
      • It is now possible to complete the quest achievement Deep into Deepholm.
      • Quest NPCs in the Temple of Earth should now appear during the final zone phases to guarantee players can still turn in quests regardless of progress.
      • Players are able to obtain the Bottle of Whiskey and the Spool of Rope for the quest "Without a Captain or Crew".
      • If Earthmender Norsala despawns during the scripted event for "Wrath of the Fungalmancer", players can now still continue with the event.
    • Gilneas
      • War Machines now spawn more quickly in the Headlands for the quest "They Have Allies, But So Do We".
    • Mount Hyjal
      • "An Offering for Aviana" is correctly being offered in all cases of prerequisite completion for both Horde and Alliance characters.
      • Matoclaw in the Grove of Aessina now offers the quest "Last Stand at Whistling Grove".
      • Cindermaul's Chest can now be looted by any player that currently has the quest "Cindermaul, the Portal Master" in their quest log.
    • Twilight Highlands
      • Bosses can no longer be pulled far out of the Crucible of Carnage arena.
      • During the quest "Aiming High" the Flintlocke's Explosives can now be used anywhere on the Skyshredder.
    • Uldum
      • Sheep packs no longer instantly respawn.
      • Player are now able to stay in the proper phase and accept "Field Work" after leaving the area, porting to other zones, or relogging.
    • Vashj'ir
      • It is now possible to complete the quest achievement Sinking into Vashj'ir.
      • Players should always be properly granted credit for completing the "Defending the Rift" quest event.
      • The range on the phase transitions of the Battlemaiden event has been extended to catch players who've pushed too far away from the NPCs around the bridge.
      • Gnash is now balanced for any type of party make-up to engage. He also grants more experience when he dies than he used to.
      • NPCs on The Verne and the Pincer X2 will no longer despawn or behave oddly while players are completing the quest "Full Circle".
      • Nespirah's entrance membrane should always be open.
      • Slithering Slime applied by eels in the Kepl'thar Forest now does significantly more damage, as it was not scaling appropriately with level.
      • Toxic Bite applied by eels in the Shimmering Expanse now does significantly more damage, as it was not scaling appropriately with level.
      • Brinescale Serpent's Brinescale Venom now has a 10-second duration, down from 20.
  • Eastern Kingdoms
    • Stormwind
      • Major Samuelson grants kill credit to everyone on the quest that is nearby when he is unmasked. He also grants players who hit him during the fight quest credit for his kill, regardless of tap rights.

December 8

• General
  • Guilds no longer receive guild experience when earning guild achievements. You can read more about this on our forums.
  • If a guild maxed their experience gains for the day, subsequent tallying of individual members’ weekly and total experience gained was not always properly being saved and stored. This has been corrected.
  • The achievements Heroic: Lost City of the Tol'vir Guild Run, Heroic: Shadowfang Keep Guild Run, and Baradin Hold Guild Run are now properly awarded and show up in the Guild Achievement window.
  • Corla will now always drop an item and the Red Winter Hat does not replace her regular loot drop. It's because she cares.
  • Players can enter and finish Wintergrasp or Tol Barad even if no players from the opposing faction are queued.
  • Players are now able to acquire "A Winter Veil Gift" for 2010 if they had completed "A Winter Veil Gift" in 2009.
• Dungeons & Raids
  • Rock Borers no longer award reputation when killed in The Stonecore.
  • Players can now use Wind Tunnels while in combat, returning them to Siamat's platform in Lost City of the Tol'vir.
• Items
  • Stormrider's Cover was requiring an incorrect class token to purchase from vendors. This has been fixed. Until a patch is applied, the Stormrider's Cover will still list a Crown of the Forlorn Protector being a required currency, however, it can be correctly purchased with a Crown of the Forlorn Vanquisher.
  • The Filet Knife quest reward from "Something Edible" in Vashj'ir is a caster weapon and now has spell power. So sensible!
• Professions
  • Fishing skill gains were increasing too rapidly past 500 skill and have been adjusted.
  • The tradeskill nodes were too dense in Deepholm and Twilight Highlands for Mining and Herbalism. Several have been removed.
  • Mining nodes were too dense in the entrance cave to Uldaman and have been thinned out.
  • Creating a Runescroll of Fortitude II now correctly grants skill-ups.
• Quests & Creatures
  • Quests for the Hydraxian Waterlords have been properly deprecated.
  • Cataclysm Zones
    • Deepholm
      • Players no longer have issues with camera direction while trying to attack Zoltrik Drakebane after having jumped onto his Pyremaw mount on the quest "The Twilight Flight".
    • Gilneas
      • Worgen characters must now complete "Endgame" for Admiral Nightwind to gain the option to port to Rut'theran Village.
      • Liam has been given lessons in anger management and team work. He will now properly stay with his soldiers during "The Battle for Gilneas City" event.
    • Kezan
      • Both the Rope Ladder and Last Chance Yacht Boarding Mortar objects will now sparkle while on the quest "Life Savings". Now with more sparkles!
    • Mount Hyjal
      • Players in a party on the quest "Black Heart of Flame” are all now able to loot the Black Heart of Thol'embaar after killing Thol’embaar, because it's only fair.
      • Twilight Stormwakers now respawn more quickly for the quest "Slash and Burn".
      • Flame Ascendants needed for the quest "Might of the Firelord" now respawn more quickly.
    • Twilight Highlands
      • Targets killable by turret vehicles for the quest "Off The Wall" no longer grant experience.
    • Uldum
      • Players can no longer get stuck in a phase after watching the cutscene that triggers upon completion of quests "Missing Pieces" and "Reduced Productivity".
      • Bloodsnarl Scavengers killed by players with the aid of Salhet's Lions during the quest "Salhet the Tactician" will not provide experience. If you want something done, sometimes you just have to do it yourself.
      • Creatures in Neferset City needed for the quest "Bleeding the Enemy" now respawn more quickly.
      • Players will now correctly switch phases after turning in the quest "Gobbles!"
    • Vashj'ir
      • Players will now be in the correct phase with Wavespeaker Valoren after completing the quest "Communing with the Ancient". Seeing ghost question marks on the mini-map is no fun for anyone.
      • The damage of the Devious Great-Eel is now correctly reduced if a player does not immediately engage the eel in combat after the Eel-Splosive Device is triggered while on the quest "Here Fishie Fishie 2: Eel-Egg-Trick Boogaloo" (Horde) or "The Brothers Digsong 2: Eel-Egg-Trick Boogaloo" (Alliance).
      • Earthmender Duarn's yell is now only visible to the player interacting with him for the quest "Making Contact".
      • Elendri Goldenbrow is no longer offering a conflicting deprecated quest "Curious Distraction".
      • There were instances where Duarn and Erunak weren't always spawning in the event for the quest "Nespirah" which have been fixed.
      • Players of the opposite faction can no longer kill the lures for the Seahorses. It's just mean and wrong. And mean.
      • Private Pollard no longer has a duplicate personality when players complete the quest "Spelunking", and Gorruk is correctly sitting after being healed.
      • Horde players are now gaining the appropriate reputations when completing quests in Vashj'ir.
      • The Earthen Ring quests in Vashj'ir now correctly grant reputation with The Earthen Ring.
      • Ancient Conduits for the quest "Ascend No More!" now respawn more quickly.
      • The cutscene which leads players to the submarine upon speaking with Erunak for the quest "Defending the Rift" should no longer sometimes drop players out of phase.
      • Nespirah Abscesses needed for the quest "Body Blows" now have more spawn locations and respawn more quickly.
      • The Corroded Key that is obtained during the quest "Kliklak's Craw" is now a multi-drop item and can be looted my multiple members of a party. And there was much rejoicing.
  • Eastern Kingdoms
    • High Sorcerer Andromath is no longer offering the deprecated quest "Ur's Treatise on Shadow Magic" in Redridge Mountains.
    • The deprecated quest "Mor'zul Bloodbringer" in Burning Steppes is no longer offered to Horde or Alliance warlock characters.
  • Kalimdor
    • Horde players can now turn in the quest "Forged Documents" to Suja in the cooking hut in Orgrimmar.
    • Azshara quests now yield Bilgewater Reputation as intended.
    • Kranal Fiss no longer offers the deprecated quest "Call of Fire" in Northern Barrens.
    • Warlocks will now receive an "Immune" error when casting Enslave Demon on Impsy in Felwood.
    • "Nothing Left for You Here" can now still be completed if the player has already completed "My Time Has Passed" in Stonetalon Mountains.
    • "We're Here to Do One Thing, Maybe Two..." can now be completed by simply going to Saurboz in Stonetalon Mountains and is not affected by the wagon.

December 7

• General
  • It is no longer possible for an ill-mannered person of the opposing faction to one-shot a flight trainer in Stormwind or Orgrimmar, which in turn made the 500 players standing on top of the flight trainer with their mammoths really sad.
  • Ray'ma and Brew Vendor Brew of the Month Club vendors are now spawning properly.
  • The achievement “Stood in the fire” is granted when standing in a zone boundary different than Deathwing's spawn location. In addition, players can now get this achievement by walking into the wake of Deathwing's fire after he has passed.
  • If faction mounts do not translate to a mount of the opposite faction when performing a paid faction change, they will now be removed.
• Battlegrounds
  • NPCs and vehicles now have the correct Cataclysm values for health and damage in the 80-84 and 85 Strand of the Ancients, Isle of Conquest, and Alterac Valley level brackets.
  • Some players were unable to enter 10- vs. 10-player Battlegrounds when the option to enter became available. This has been corrected.
• Professions
  • There is no longer a School of Fish in Elwynn Forest that like to think of themselves as in "testing," nor do they yield Peacebloom when fished. This School of Fish is no longer a part of the counterculture and will no longer give you flowers when fished.
  • Recipe: Feathered Lure is no longer on the vendor list for the Cooking reward vendors, as it's returning an error "The Spell is not available to you" when players attempt to learn it.
  • Electrostatic Condenser no longer provides inconsistent loot chances for each gathering profession.
  • Training in Archaeology should now properly generate dig sites around the world according to the player's skill level.
  • Archaeology daily quests are now properly flagged as dailies.
  • A Fossil Archaeology Find at the Un'Goro Terror Run dig site spawned beyond the range of the dig site area and has been removed.
  • There was an inconsistency in Cooking skill-ups between Lavascale Minestrone and Lavascale Fillet which has been addressed.
  • Some Leatherworking recipes which require a skill of 525 were missing from the vendor Misty Merriweather and have been returned.
• Quests
  • Cataclysm Level 80-85 Zones
    • Mobs that spawn infinitely during the Temple of Earth finale within Deepholm do not grant experience.
    • Players are no longer ported out of the Maelstrom if they have "The Eye of the Storm" in their quest log when they go through the portal to the Maelstrom.
    • Twilight Proveditors for the quest "End of the Supply Line" in Mount Hyjal should respawn at a more consistent rate.
    • Zin'jatar Raiders respawn more quickly for the "Buy Us Some Time" quest in Kelp'thar Forest, Vashj'ir.
  • Eastern Kingdoms
    • Completing the quest "Never Surrender, Sometimes Retreat" is now updating Gilneas properly.
    • If a player completes the objectives of "Bad Medicine" outside of Northern Stranglethorn, then the quest "Just Hatched" will not auto-launch, but Corporal Sethman will have the quest available when the player turns in the quest "Bad Medicine" to Brother Nimetz. If the player completes "Bad Medicine" within Northern Stranglethorn, then "Just Hatched" is auto-launched.
    • Quest givers in The Exodar, Teldrassil and Dun Morogh are all now offering the level 50 mage quest "Meet with Maginor Dumas" leading players to Stormwind.
    • The deprecated quests "Foreboding Plans" and "Encrypted Letter" are no longer being offered to players by the Syndicate Documents in Hillsbrad Foothills.
    • The deprecated quests "Looking Further" and "Morganth" are no longer being offered by the Old Lion Statue in Redridge Mountains.
    • The cutscene for "Lordaeron" in Silverpine Forest will now properly play if the player is mounted when starting the quest.
    • High Priest Venoxis should spawn properly during the "High Priest Venoxis" quest event in The Cape of Stranglethorn.
    • The quest "The Holy Water of Clarity" will be offered regardless of the order in which the player completes the prerequisite quests in The Cape of Stranglethorn.
    • The NPCs of Bloodgulch no longer disappear when players skip the cutscene during the quest "Eye Spy" in Twilight Highlands.
  • Kalimdor
    • 60 completed quests in Winterspring are now required in order to earn the Winterspring Quests achievement.
    • Players should no longer experience issues completing the quest "The Reason Why" when attempting to interact with the various Moonstones in Ashenvale.
    • Players are no longer able to attack other players while in Diemetradon form during the quest "Ever Watching From Above" in Un'Goro Crater.
    • It is no longer possible to pick up the deprecated quest "The Gordunni Scroll" in Feralas.
    • The deprecated quest "Hunting in Stranglethorn" is no longer being offered by Roon Wildmane in Desolace.
    • Questgiver Melizza Brimbuzzle in Desolace now respawns at a much more reasonable rate after dying.
    • Jinky Twizzlefixxit now provides players with a replacement River Boat quest reward via her gossip text if a player deletes it while in Thousand Needles.
    • Antechamber Guardian now spawns correctly for "What Lies Within" in Tanaris.
    • The quest "Sandscraper's Treasure" is no longer being offered to Alliance players via the Sandscraper's Chest in Tanaris.
    • The Antediluvean Chest is now correctly spawning inside the Antechamber of Uldum within Tanaris and there is no longer an issue with it spawning outside of the chamber.

December 2

• The grace time for players who have disconnected from a Battleground has been increased to three minutes before being issued the Deserter debuff.
• Crafty players again found a way to catch Cataclysm fish. Crafty designers have made this impossible without a Cataclysm key attached to a player’s account.
• Quests
  • The Horde version of the Ashenvale Quests achievement now requires 62 Ashenvale quests completed, down from 80.
  • The Alliance version of the Un’Goro Crater Quests achievement now requires 40 Un’Goro Crater quests completed, down from 45.
  • Blackfathom Tide Priestesses required for the quest "Deep Despair" in Ashenvale now respawn more quickly.
  • Razgar’s Fillet Knife and Drowned Thunder Lizard Tail are now removed from a player’s inventory upon completing the quest “A Golden Opportunity” in Orgrimmar.
  • The Alliance shaman quest “Blessing of the Elements” in Stormwind was not providing rewards for all talent specializations. It now rewards either an Agility-based axe for Enhancement shaman, or an Intellect-based axe for Restoration/Elemental shaman.
  • Writings of the Dark Herald will now drop from Telarius Voidstrider in Darkshore for all players in a party.
  • Dead Alliance players are no longer able to die in spirit form while on the quest "Bael'dun Rescue" in Southern Barrens.
  • Pylons in Un’Goro Crater no longer play a sound effect when interacting with them to complete the associated quests. This is a temporary fix to address an issue with the audio continually playing until logout after completing the quest "The Northern Pylon".
  • Teegan Holloway for the quest “The Looting of Althalaxx” in Darkshore has had his respawn time decreased.
  • Warlord Thresh'jin for the quest "Out of the Ziggurat" in Eastern Plaguelands can now be looted by all players in a party.

November 30

• Many creatures in Uldaman were not awarding reputation upon death. This has been corrected.
• Wrathbone Reavers, Wrathbone Sorcerers, and Fallen Warriors no longer grant reputation in Pit of Saron.
• Players can again start the Thrall escape event in Caverns of Time: Old Hillsbrad regardless of quest status.
• The temporary guardian Basalt Rockling no longer drops from Balboa in Azshara.
• Magma-Lord Kolob in Burning Steppes no longer awards dungeon tabard reputation.
• Gunships in Isle of Conquest should now work properly when a member of the opposite faction is on the gunship.
• Quests
  • Dungeon quests for level 1-60 dungeons on Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor now reward significantly less experience. Read more about this change here.
  • The event for "The Battle for Darrowshire" properly resets after a failed attempt and the Relic Bundle will correctly trigger the event again after a failed attempt.
  • Players should no longer get disconnected if they attempt to share a quest that isn't supposed to be sharable.
  • Players should still be able to interact with Orgus after offering a drink for the quest "Let's See What You've Got, Zanzil" on The Cape of Stranglethorn.
  • Satchel of Helpful Goods should be rewarded when players complete Shadowfang Keep via the Looking For Dungeon system.
  • "The Secrets of Uldum" can be completed.
  • "One Draenei's Junk..." and "Kum'isha's Endeavors" can no longer be shared.
  • The quest item Enohar's Explosive Arrows for the quest "Curtail the Darktail" can now only be used on Darktail Bonepickers within Blasted Lands.
  • Mounted characters can now proceed through "Rise of the Brotherhood" in Westfall without any complications.
  • Buttonwillow's Hand Grenade from the quest "Remove Their Arms" can no longer be used outside of Blasted Lands.
  • Golems at the Grimesilt Dig Site in Searing Gorge should now respawn at a more reasonable rate.
  • Players should no longer experience a client crash when accepting the quest "A Destiny of Flame and Sorrow" in Felwood.

November 29

• Cataclysm leather can no longer be skinned from low-level NPCs.
• Characters that have Illustrious Grand Master Engineering are now able to use the Gnomish Army Knife without errors.
• Quests
  • The Bulging Sack of Gold rewarded upon completion of the quest "Forged Documents" now actually contains gold.
  • The Fireliminator X-21 quest item for the quest "When Science Attacks" is no longer able to be used outside of Azshara.
  • The Mad Magus Tirth's Soul effect from the quest "The Mad Magus" is now zone-bound to Thousand Needles.
  • Players can no longer receive Bloodsail Buccaneers reputation by killing Booty Bay Bruisers when phased after completing the quest "Doublerum".
  • General Grimaxe and his Dark Iron Golem should now correctly spawn for all players on the quest "Grimaxe's Demise".
  • Level 61+ players should now be able to complete the quest "Uther's Blessing" by using the item Chillwind Tribute at Uther's Tomb.
  • "A Mother's Worries" in Wetlands should now display quest text.
  • Players with the Enchanted Imp Sack aura from the quest "Do the Imp-Possible" in Felwood are no longer able to use their mount to carry passengers.
  • Skybreaker Recon Fighters are visible now and it is again possible to complete the quests "Keeping the Alliance Blind" and "Blinding the Eyes in the Sky" in Icecrown.
  • Banshee Essences can now be looted by all party members in Stratholme.
  • The Desolace quest "Satyrical Offerings" is no longer flagged for Cataclysm and can be obtained without the expansion.
  • The Southern Barrens quest "Segmentation Fault: Core Dumped" now correctly awards experience, money, and reputation upon completion.
  • Carrion Scarabs spawned by the Crypt Horrors in Eastern Plaguelands are now correctly level 40.
  • The quest "The Hunter's Way" is now first available at level 8, down from level 10.
  • The murlocs for the quest "Ever So Lonely" now correctly respawn as players capture them.

November 24

• Players should now be able to champion a capital city and earn reputation in Heroic and normal level 80 Wrath of the Lich King dungeons while wearing that city's tabard.
• Players are no longer required to discover Wrath of the Lich King dungeons before accessing them via Looking For Dungeon.
• Players should no longer be interrupted when eating or drinking in a Battleground before the battle starts.
• Many former Steamwheedle goblins have switched over to the Gadgetzan faction. If a players happens to be "At War" with these NPCs, they will no longer attack in many areas.
• The door to the Alliance Keep in Isle of Conquest should again be closed at the beginning of the battle.
• Creatures spawned during the Hadronox encounter no longer award reputation.
• After changing races to tauren and learning the Sunwalker Kodo mounts, they now remain available after porting, zoning, and relogging.
• Players can no longer catch new high-level fish when fishing near level 80-85 zones unless the account is upgraded to Cataclysm.
• Quests
  • The quest "Reinforcements from Theramore" can now be obtained by Alliance players.
  • Players no longer keep the invisibility aura and the Hunting buff after logging out while in the wolf vehicle on the quest "The Wolf and the Kodo".
  • The quest "Diplomacy By Another Means" no longer auto-completes in the field.
  • The spawn rate for Frostmane Scavengers in Dun Morogh has been substantially increased.
  • Obtaining the achievement for completing quests in Silverpine now requires 55 quests, down from 60. The interface will still list it as 60 required quests until a client-side patch is applied.
  • Players should no longer get stuck in a phased state when attempting to complete the quest "To the Rescue!"
  • Players are now able to complete the quest “Uther’s Blessing” by using the item Chillwind Tribute at Uther’s Tomb.
  • Horde players are no longer able to obtain the Stormpike Insignia Rank 2 from Lieutenant Haggerdin while on the quest "Infiltration".
  • Experience granted by quests in Arathi Highlands has been increased.

November 23

• Alterac Valley, Isle of Conquest, and Strand of the Ancients should no longer attempt to place players in a level 80-84 bracket.
• The title "Champion of [guildname]" can no longer be improperly awarded to players.
• Quests
  • The Wayward Fire Elemental is now properly tracked on the mini-map for the quest "Ice and Fire".
  • Fishing daily quests in Stormwind and Orgrimmar have returned.
  • Players will now reach their flight destination properly for the quest "Fuselight, Ho!"
  • It is no longer possible to use all the charges on the Purified Moonwell Water at a single brazier for the quest "Dousing the Flames of Protection".
  • The tauren quest "Heeding the Call" has been removed from the game and is no longer improperly still being offered to players.
