GTA: Dead Man's Party

Hey guys!

So, obvious GTA is obvious. Get Dead Man's Party

Aside from that, isn't the Day of the dead banner awesome?! You know it is.

So, Day of the Dead... easy, a bit of a dissapointment to pet collectors everywhere... but despite many threads being made on the WoW forums last night here, related to Blizz making the pet permanent.

I am actually inclined to agree with the opposing reasoning... Essentially it goes like this

Guy: Mayk teh pet permnent!
Other Guy: But he's a little guy visiting from the afterlife... that's why he's only around for two days.
Guy: But I wannnnnnts it!
Other Guy: Don't worry, I'm sure Blizz will cave.

Saw about 20 threads like this yesterday and this morning. Probably right.

So how was everyone's Halloween?

We've only had a couple of entries into the WoW-Screenshot Halloween Costume Contest so your chances of winning are pretty good.

Day of the Dead

Hey guys, real quick post just to let you know what to do for Day of the dead.

(Taken from Mmo-champion)

Go to any graveyard, preferably the one of your faction's capital city. (We'll get to that later)
Dance with Catrina here. (Screenshot)
That's it!

Now let's get you a Macabre Marionette.

Buy the Recipe: Bread of the Dead from Chapman next to Catrina and learn it.
Buy the Simple Flour from any cooking supplies NPC (just take the one next to the trainer if you don't know where they are) and Ice Cold Milk from most Innkeeper and Food/Drink vendors.
Go to the graveyard of your faction's capital city and go to the Ghostly Cooking Fire next to Catrina.
Create a Bread of the Dead.
Buy an Orange Marigold or a Bouquet of Orange Marigolds from Chapman (the NPC who sells the recipe) and use it. Ghosts will appear in the graveyard.
One of the ghosts will offer the following quest : The Grateful Dead.
Give the bread to the ghost to receive your Macabre Marionette!

TGIF: 10/30/09

Hey guys and girls (even though "girls don't play WoW"),

So... weekend time. My weekend is going to be FILLED with trick or treating... in fact, it's going to be SO chaulk full of Trick or Treating that I'm gonna get a belly ache! ... (that joke was lame on purpose.)

So, the way I see it, when I get home (around 6:00 p.m.), let's assume I get online at 6:15, I'm going to have until 11:59 p.m. Saturday night to finish trick or treating.

That's 30 ToTs. Plus 1 daily for putting out the fires (getting the daily from the pumpkin) today and tomorrow. So 32 attempts left. Plus, if I'm good I'll get my alts into Headless Horsemans... but I won't include those being as how it's way too dynamic how many you'll be able to get into.

Looks like I won't be sleeping until Sunday Morning :) (Unless of course, I get lucky, then this is all for nothing).

Also, don't forget that the Day of the dead starts on Sunday (1 a.m. on my server, probably yours too!). As I understand it, you just need to go dance with some broad named Catrina. My best guess is that she's going to be in Dalaran (judging by Bread of the Dead.

For those of you going to Halloween parties this weekend, be sure to get a picture of yourself for Our Halloween Costume Contest (keep in mind, that we don't want screenshots, we want RL pics of you in your costume... bonus points if you're heavily intoxicated :) (bonus points shall be awarded in "internets" not actual favoritism when selecting the winner).

Well, that's about it for me until Monday... I'll be posting something on Sunday to tell you where Catrina actually is (but like I said, assume Dalaran).

Day of the dead news announced

I just saw this on MMO-Champion.com posted by Slimmo

I have just noticed that during the Day of the Dead event (Starting 1st november)
WoWWiki has revealed that the Zombie Invasion from the wrath of the lich king release is going to do a comeback each year! This is entirely because the event was so popular but it will only have a duration of one day, even so its very awsome Tongue

What do you guys think about this?
