The goal of this site is to provide an easy to use leader board and character sheet to view your Achievements, and your ranking among your guild, realm, region, and the world!
WoW already tracks my achievements; why use your site?Simple... WoW doesn't provide a leaderboard of the millions of players that we do (plus it lets you flex your e-peen a little) :)
How Frequently Are My Achievement Points and Ranking Updated?We run a number of scanners that spider the World of Warcraft Armory and a number of processes that update the ranking statistics. Any Character or Guild that is selected on our site is placed in a preferential queue that will be updated more frequently than characters or guilds that have never been looked at on our site. The scanners run continuously so that all characters in our database are updated.
It would be cool to have a signature generator! Any plans?Yes, we do have plans to create a sig generator which will have things like Name, Level, Stats, Current Points, Feats of strength, etc. Will be completed by July 2010.
How do you gather the information from the armory?We spider the armory, tracking all users, guilds, realms and regions. Everytime someone moves to a new guild then the new guild is scanned and so on. If your character or guild are not listed then search for them using the text box on the right side of the menu or on the Search Results page. On the search results page make sure that you spell you realm and guild or character exactly right. This will add your character or guild to the top of the queue for scanning.
Hey, What are Achievement Points for anyway?Currently? It adds replayability to the game, and let's you track your progress in a bit more technical way than "I've completed these instances!" Some also consider it a way to REALLY show how far you've progressed in the game, personally.
Why isn't my character showing up?As it stands, it is impossible to scan the entire armory without a little help. If you aren't showing up you will need to do a quick search for your name or guild using the text field on the banner. If no results show up, simply hit the "Add Character" link and enter your character name exactly.
I like your site - what can I do to help?We would be more than happy if you would tell your guildmates about this site. Although we spider the armory for as many people as we can find, we can't get them all. However, the more people that query themselves, the more people we will find. Also if you are interested in putting one of our banners on your site, please contact us through the Forums, on Twitter or Facebook. And lastly, simply clicking on the ads will help us out tremendously!
